I can't believe it's taken me so long to finally start our family blog. I truly enjoy reading everyone's blogs and I figured why not make our own. Now, I have to tell you right off the bat...I will only be updating every once in awhile for now.
MICHAEL: On Tuesday, June 8th, Michael completed his 8 week outpatient treatment program at Harmony Healthcare. Mike was being treated for his addiction to prescription pain medication resulting from his thumb being crushed in 2004 and some back problems. Michael decided it was finally time to get help after 5 years of Oxycontin and Morphine running his entire life. We are so proud of Mike and his MAJOR accomplishment! He has worked very hard to achieve his sobriety! Way to go baby!
SARAH: I cannot believe that Sarah is going to be in 8th grade this year! Where has the time gone? She is growing up so fast right before our eyes. Sarah ended her 7th grade school year with great grades! I had my doubts for awhile there but she pulled through like the smartie pants that she is. :) Lately she has been enjoying sleeping in and swimming at Grandpa and Grandma Yoss' house. She has always been a little fish!
CHERYL: I am doing pretty good. My diabetes is under good control now that our family has been doing Weight Watchers together. Mike has lost 21 lbs, Sarah has lost 10 lbs and I have lost 22 lbs. We are really loving the feeling of weight loss and the energy we have now with eating healthier and exercising. We look forward to reaching our weight loss goals.
